Management Support and Auxiliary Services

WHAT WE DO

  • Rendering office and support services as well as training and staff development and HIV/AIDS
  • Providing the entire Ministry with services such as typing, secretariat, registry and internal supplies (Budget Control Votes 2301, 2302 and Telephone Services).
  • Management of the internal cleaning, messenger, terrain, labourers
  • And ministerial transport services as well as the administration and control of the official vehicles fleet allocated to the Ministry are also the responsibility of this Division.

Human Resources

WHAT WE DO

  • The Division of Human Resources is dealing with Personnel Administration, Labour Relations, Grievance Procedures, Staffing, Misconduct, Affirmative Action. This Division renders an efficient and effective personnel function in conjunction with the general principles as stipulated in the Public Service Charter, to the Ministry of Works and Transport and other stakeholders.

WHAT WE DO

  • Budget planning, and control
  • Financial reporting to stakeholders (Management, Treasury, Planners, Auditors, Parliament ect...).
  • Processing of payments and remuneration to Suppliers, employees and Statutory

Government Garage

WHAT WE DO

  • Overall directives, planning and control of all the quality productions, operations, safety, expenditures and revenue collection of the entire organization through the provision of reliable transport services to the Namibian Government.
  • Ensure that all Government institutions are provided with sufficient fleet of vehicles as per their respective requirements.
  • Ensuring that all required resources such as finance, human and technical are adequate provided to enable the organization meets its expectations.
  • Coordinate within and with all Ministries, Offices and Agencies through the mother ministry to ensure that the day to day operations run smoothly.
  • Responsible for preparing organizational budget, control expenditure and revenue collection

  • Improve awareness of availability of services and products offered by Government Stres.

  • Revise Government Stores sales catalogue.
  • Manage all sales and customer relationships to the advantage of all clients.

  • Synchronize Stores sales to be in line with its future functions and responsibilities.

  • Significantly enhance the capability of electronic data communication and management in the ministry.
  • Continuously improve IT infrastructures.

  • Reform the ICT infrastructure to be in line with the requirements of our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reduce Operational Costs of the IT Division.
